Celebrating Mother’s Day in Las Vegas

We should celebrate Mom every day of the year, but why not treat Mom to a special meal on Mother’s Day? Several of our city’s best restaurants will offer special menus across diverse cuisines and the Vegas Valley.

The Strip

Bouchon by Thomas Keller at The Venetian is offering a three-course brunch featuring Tarte au Saumon Fumé (everything bagel tart with smoked salmon and crème fraîche), Gnocchis de Homard (poached Maine lobster with potato gnocchi, asparagus, fava beans, and fines herb beurre blanc), Bénédicte au Homard (Maine lobster with Bouchon Bakery English muffin, hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, English peas, onion confit, sauce Hollandaise, and mignardises for dessert.

$75 per person

CATCH at ARIA has Mother’s Day specials of Ichigo Fluffy Pancakes with strawberry coulis, chiffon pancakes, and Bavarian cream ($35) and a Breakfast Sandwich with pork sausage, strawberry pepper jam, and gruyere cheese on a croissant ($21) for brunch; and for dinner, King Salmon Tataki Roll with Japanese cucumber, yuzu compressed pineapple, yamamomo aioli, wasabi vinaigrette, and strawberry salsa ($30), Wagyu Filet with crispy Hokkaido sweet potato, wasabi crème, and Yamazaki whiskey au poivre ($90), and Chilean Seabass with sauteed Swiss chard, charred blood orange, king oyster mushroom, crispy taro, wasabi relish, and blood orange ponzu ($58).

May 11-12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

LPM Restaurant & Bar at The Cosmopolitan is serving a shareable 12-course feast for the whole family with warm croissants and fresh baguettes served with French jams and flavorful indulgences, including Salmon Carpaccio, Lobster Eggs Benedict and Charcoal Grilled Rib Eye Steak ($85). Also offered are brunch items like Brioche French Toast with spiced Chantilly and apple tatin ($22); Provençale Style Shirred Eggs with frittata sauce and roasted red peppers ($22); Avocado Toast with focaccia, avocado, and grilled vegetables ($22); and a Seafood Tower with King Crab salad, sea bass ceviche, prawns, oysters, mussels, cocktail sauce, and shallot dressing ($155).

During the brunch, a DJ and a full band will play lively beats, and all moms will receive a complimentary rose and custom Mother’s Day chocolates prepared by LPM’s pastry team.

STK Steakhouse at The Cosmopolitan will treat Mom for the entire month of May with decadent limited-time menu offerings including Dungeness Crab Deviled Eggs with American sturgeon caviar, rocket leaves, and maple bacon ($44); Slow-Roasted Prime Rib with charred baby carrots, pesto, ricotta, and salsa verde ($74); Peppercorn-Crusted Lamb Chops with green peas, mint, and smoked bacon ($89); 14 ounce Veal Chop with morel cream and balsamic caramelized onions (MP); Iberico Pork Chop with roasted broccolini, almonds, and Madeira wine sauce ($61); Parmesan-Crusted Sole with green asparagus and sturgeon caviar butter sauce ($56); and Cheddar Hash Brown with parmesan creme fraiche ($21).

Jaleo by Jose Andrés at The Cosmopolitan offers a special menu for dinner service on Mother’s Day, featuring dishes that remind chef José Andrés of the moms in his life. The specials include Ensalada Lentejas con Queso Azul de Mamá Marisa—lentil and mixed green salad with bell peppers, sherry dressing, and Mamá Marisa blue cheese ($14); Tichi’s Gazpacho—classic chilled Spanish soup with tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers ($8); Pixin Estilo Tazones—Asturian-fried monkfish with lemon aioli ($16); Vieiras Crudo y Piparana—Hokkaido scallop with citrus dressing, cucumber, tomato, and bell pepper ($18); Garbanzos con Espinacas ‘Que-bien Cocinas Tichi’—Moorish stew of chickpeas and spinach with a fried organic egg ($16); and Flan al Estilo de Tradicional de Mamá Marisa con Espuma de Crema Catalana—a classic Spanish custard with espuma of Catalan cream ($14).

Brezza at Resorts World will offer an elevated, free-flowing brunch crafted by acclaimed Executive Chef Nicole Brisson. Available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the brunch features dishes such as Cappellacci “Oreganata” with cauliflower, spinach, lemon, garlic, and capers; King Crab Frittata with mascarpone and fresh herbs; Beef Cheek Ravioli with parmesan, European butter and aceto; Fresh Oysters with house-made cocktail sauce and rhubarb mignonette; Farmhouse Tart with sausage, mushrooms, walnuts and fontina; and Semolina Cake with lemon berries and whipped cream.

$85 per person and $45 for children under eight

Carversteak at Resorts World salutes moms with à la carte steak and seafood specials that include Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with shaved Australian wagyu, parmesan, truffle, and arugula ($32); Strawberry & Burrata with field greens, citrus, and raspberry vinaigrette ($22); Filet Oscar with an 8 ounce Allen Brothers filet, jumbo lump crab, asparagus, and hollandaise ($125); Day Boat Scallops with risotto, baby artichokes, mushroom, and parmesan ($52); and Opera Cake with coffee buttercream, espresso-soaked almond joconde, and chocolate ganache ($20).

North Strip

The STRAT

Top of the World, with 360-degree rotating views, offers a trio of featured dishes available from Friday, May 10, through Sunday, May 12. Selections include Sliced Strawberry and Baby Spinach Salad with shaved onions, toasted almonds, and feta cheese topped with strawberry and white balsamic vinaigrette ($21); Pan-Roasted Halibut with caramelized spiced carrots and lemon-caper butter ($56); and Strawberry Lemonade Cake ($17).

An array of Asian-inspired dishes will be available at CHĪ Asian Kitchen from Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12. Featured selections will include Seafood Mapo Tofu with shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, mapo tofu, and chili soy ($32); Peking Duck Steamed Buns with cucumber, scallions, and jicama hoisin sauce ($27); Crispy Shrimp Toast with pickled cabbage plum sauce ($21); and Watermelon Salad with heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, Mandarin oranges, and secret dressing ($16).

Off the Strip

Twin Creeks Steakhouse at the Silverton Casino Lodge offers three Mother’s Day specials during dinner service from 4 to 9 p.m., including Shaved Heirloom Carrot Salad with whipped goat cheese spread, basil pesto vinaigrette, toasted hazelnuts, and roasted mushrooms ($16); Pan-Seared Branzino with smoky white bean ragout, tomato chimichurri, pickled fennel, and baby arugula ($48); and Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake ($11).

Vic’s Las Vegas in Symphony Park is treating Mom to an elegant Mother’s Day Brunch with live jazz and a complimentary mimosa. Their Italian American menu will include Crab Benedict with roasted potatoes, baby carrots, and asparagus ($28); Waffles with Berries with two eggs and two slices of bacon ($18); Quiche choice of Ham & Cheese or Florentine ($25); Lobster & Cheese Raviolis heart-shaped and topped with pecorino Romano ($20); Swordfish with chimichurri sauce and seasonal vegetables ($34); and Kids special: Waffle with Berries—half a waffle, one egg, and one slice of bacon ($9).

Live jazz by Tom Scott, Joe Lano, and Domas Žeromskas, featuring Steve Flora and Héctor L. Falu, starts at 1 p.m.

Monzu Italian Oven & Bar is honoring all moms by bringing a dish originally created for Chef Gio Mauro’s wife, Naomi, to the restaurant for Mother’s Day. The featured dish highlights diver scallops over housemade lasagnette with mint, tomato, and almond pesto ($45). A suggested pairing is the Tasca d’Almerita Grillo, offered by the bottle or the glass.

The restaurant will open early for the day, with reservations available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Downtown Las Vegas

Redwood Steakhouse at the California Hotel & Casino will serve a special Mother’s Day three-course prix fixe dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. The menu includes Cream-Poached Hawaiian Saltwater Prawn and Scallop with corn kakiage and squid ink tuile; Seared King Salmon with potato, leek, asparagus quiche and shoyu lemon butter; and Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp with Lappert’s vanilla ice cream.

Summerlin

Grape Vine Café presents a Mother’s Day three-course prix fixe special. The menu includes a choice of Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes with EVOO, basil, and balsamic; Wedge Salad with bleu cheese, avocado, tomato, bacon and cilantro ranch; or Shrimp Cocktail with horseradish sauce. Choose between a 6-ounce Filet Mignon with Grilled Jumbo Shrimp and mashed potatoes and asparagus, Slow-Braised Osso Buco with fettucine and tomato burgundy sauce, Butter Poached Lobster Tail with lobster risotto, or Wild Caught Halibut with tarragon beurre blanc, sweet corn salsa, and asparagus. Dessert choices include Tiramisu, Sea Salt Caramel Italian Gelato, or Cheesecake with strawberries.

$79 per person

Al Solito Posto at Tivoli Village will be open from noon to 8 p.m. and will serve a special brunch menu from noon to 3 p.m. along with their regular menu. Some brunch highlights include Eggs in Purgatory ($20), Maryland King Crab Cakes ($29), and Vegetable Quiche ($20).

Spiedini Fiamma Italian Bistro at the Rampart Casino/JW Marriott offers a three-course prix fixe specialty menu from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The menu includes Summer Berries Salad, Minus 8 Vinaigrette and gorgonzola; choice of Umbricelli Alla Norcina (Italian sausage, shiitake mushrooms, and summer truffle), Flounder a La Grenobloise (potato galette, lemon, capers, lemon, and butter sauce) or Pork Tenderloin (with braised cabbage, apple compote, porcini jus, and potato leek foam); and Chocolate Ball with vanilla mousse, hazelnut, and hot chocolate sauce.

La Strega will celebrate Mother’s Day with a special brunch menu curated by Executive Chef Partner Gina Marinelli. Available only on Mother’s Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the limited-time special menu includes Beef Cheek and Egg Pizza with fonduta, garlic, and kale ($15), Caviar Service, served with smoked salmon, gnocco fritto, and yuzu crème fraiche ($125), Tiger Prawn Benedict with crab latkes, dandelion greens, soft poached egg, and harissa hollandaise ($48), The Howard’s Crispy Organic Chicken with Calabrian honey and radicchio slaw ($32).

Southwest Las Vegas

Wineaux, the recently opened “wine market, bar and escape” at UnCommons, will offer lavish gift baskets of treats and wines specially curated for Mother’s Day, available for purchase in-store starting May 1 and available while supplies last.

Two gift basket options are available, which include a thoughtful card, chocolates, cookies, nuts, and other decadent goodies, as well as two sommelier-selected bottles of wine from Wineaux’s curated collection: a bottle of Moillard Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé 2018 and La Gerla Poggio gli Angeli Sangiovese 2020 ($78) and a bottle of La Spinetta Il Rosé di Casanova Sangiovese 2022 and Brancaia Cabernet Sauvignon Blend Ilatraia 2020 ($104).

Green Valley/Henderson

Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca at Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino is celebrating with brunch and dinner. Brunch will feature banana-stuffed French Toast with mascarpone cream, fresh bananas, and brown butter caramel ($20), and moms will receive a complimentary rose and chocolate-covered strawberry. Dinner selections include an appetizer of Seafood Consommé with mussels, clams, shrimp, sea bass, salmon, Calabrian chilies, and spiced fennels ($18); Occo Bucco with Italian cabbage, polenta, and au jus ($42); and Linguine Nero with white wine sauce, shrimp, calamari, Calabrian peppers, and tomato sauce ($36).
