Vegas Valley Winery — April 12

Chef Alicia Shevetone will present the next Appy Hour at Vegas Valley Winery on Saturday, April 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., bringing her unique and delicious appetizers, each with a delightful wine.

The menu will include:

  • Baked Samosa Cups with Mint & Arugula Chutney—Indian spiced potato filling baked in a crispy wonton cup, drizzled with a vibrant sauce
  • Brie & Cranberry Bites—creamy limoncello pepper brie, cranberries, and fresh rosemary baked in buttery, golden pastry
  • Bear Claw Bread Pudding—cubes of bear claws and brioche baked in a chai-spiced custard

Live music will be available in the Tasting Room after the event.

Crossroads Kitchen — April 17

Crossroads Kitchen at Resorts World, the only fine-dining vegan restaurant on the Vegas Strip, will host a plant-based Italian dinner on Thursday, April 17. Reservations are available from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The dinner will be a collaboration with Crossroads founder Tal Ronnen, James Beard Award-winning chef Rocco DiSpirito, and Top Chef Season 6 winner Michael Voltaggio.

The five-course dinner, priced at $85 per person, will include Homemade Focaccia with Marinated Olives and Asparagus Arancini; Artichoke Carpaccio with lemon truffle oil and mushroom guanciale; Pasta Nero with Morel “calamari,” sea bean powder, and Arrabiata emulsion; Eggplant Milanese with spring greens and peas and whole-grain mustard vinaigrette; and Croccante alle Nocciole with hazelnut cremeaux and Amarena cherries.

Vegas Unstripped — April 27

Vegas Unstripped, a not-for-profit chef-driven curated food event featuring one-night-only original dishes from 30 of Las Vegas’ most acclaimed and creative local chefs, accompanied by cocktails from many of the city’s best bartenders, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Palms Casino Resort Pools.

Participating chefs for 2025 include John Arena (Metro Pizza), Sterling Buckley (Palate), Francesco di Caudo (Basilico Ristorante Italiano), Bruce Kalman (SoulBelly BBQ), Steve Kessler (Aroma Latin American Cocina), Joel Ott (Joel’s Chophouse), Brian Howard (Sparrow + Wolf), Jamie Tran (The Black Sheep), Marty Lopez (Scotch 80 Prime), Gina Marinelli (La Strega, Harlø Steakhouse), Luke Palladino (Meta-Hospitality, Laguna Pool House & Kitchen), and James Trees (Esther’s Kitchen, Bar Boheme).

Tickets are $150 (plus nominal fees). A small number of tickets will be available for a higher price on the day of the event. Proceeds cover chef expenses as needed and then support local underserved charities serving the community.

This is a 21+ event.

Pick of the Week: Bottiglia Cucina & Enotica

Bottiglia Cucina & Enotica at Green Valley Ranch is hosting its new “Brunch Club,” a weekend brunch every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The menu showcases brunch favorites such as Avocado Toast made with rustic bread, basil pesto, and heirloom tomatoes; California Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, roasted tomato, rotisserie chicken, avocado, and pesto; Acai Granola Bowl with fresh berries, banana, granola, coconut, and acai sorbet; Caramel Pecan Sticky Bun with vanilla mascarpone icing; Chicken & Waffles—buttermilk fried chicken, sourdough waffle, sweet pickle relish, and Mike’s hot honey; Beet Salad with roasted golden and red beets, crumbled goat cheese, aged modena balsamic saba, and assorted vegetable veloutés; Breakfast Sandwich with cotto ham, fried eggs, fontina cheese, pesto, and crispy smoked prosciutto; and Chilean Sea Bass served with risotto, peas, sundried roasted tomatoes, and carrot purée.

The Cocktail Tree is a twist on the traditional cocktail experience. Priced at $85, its branches hold a dozen Belvedere Vodka Espresso Martinis or Rosé Cocktails made with The Beach by Whispering Angel. For endless sips, guests can partake in bottomless mimosas and Aperol spritzes, priced at $25.

Bottiglia brings in a rotating lineup of local musicians during the brunch, such as the popular Brazilian singer and musician Thiago Gusi, who brings his soulful acoustic sounds blending Latin, pop, and jazz. Guests can also browse a carefully curated selection of local artisans and vendors at the restaurant’s entrance. The inaugural brunch on March 22 included a custom hat bar by Patch Bar and a charm necklace booth by Pink and Sage.

During Las Vegas’ current optimal weather you can dine al fresco, as Bottiglia has outdoor patio seating.

Rebellion Pizza Food Truck Now on the Move

Rebellion Pizza, known for its excellence in creating NY and Sicilian-style pizzas, recently added a second location in the Tenaya Village Center in Centennial Hills, joining its original location in the Anthem Village Center in Henderson. Now it’s on the move again with the launch of its food truck.

The double-decker gas Blodgett oven can churn out 36 pizzas per hour. Twelve-inch pizzas, Garlic Knots, and Caesar Salads are offered at the same pricing as its two stores. Most specialty pizzas are available, and you can also build your own with your choice of toppings.

The food truck has a regular weekly slot at CraftHaus Brewery on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., has filled slots at Servehzah with more to come, and will be debuting at the new West Henderson Hospital on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It can also be booked for special events.

LAVO Endless Brunch Returns

LAVO at The Palazzo has announced the return of its Endless Brunch, offered Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Priced at $55 per person, the brunch features an extensive spread including Mixed Green, Chopped Antipasto, Baby Beets, and Caesar Salads; Fettucine Alfredo and Penne Alla Vodka pastas; Raw Bar with options of Seafood Salad, Oysters, Salmon Ceviche, and Tuna Tartare; Brunch, Margherita, and Black Truffle Pizzas; Eggs Benedict; Chicken & Waffles; Eggs Florentine; Breakfast Sandwich; build-your-own omelet; Plain, Blueberry, and Banana Pancakes; Nutella, Banana, Caramel, and Strawberry Waffles; and chef’s selection of house made cakes, muffins, and cookies.

Entertainment News 

Vintage Market Days — April 11-13

Vintage Market Days, an elevated, upscale, vintage-inspired, open-air market featuring upcycled antiques, vintage finds, unique clothing, food trucks, handmade treasures, home décor and live entertainment, will return to The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin.

Each ticket enables guests to experience an array of artists, designers, and Vegas natives debuting unique-to-market finds alongside many out-of-state vendors. Each vendor will feature their choice of genuine vintage goods, antiques, original art, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, seasonal plantings, and much more. 

Food trucks serving during the event include Pikes Peak Lemonade Tap Truck, El Fuego, Da Bruddahs, Goodhood Burgers, and Holey Roller.  

The Early Buying event takes place Friday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General Admission is Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Three-day tickets are priced at $15 (plus fee), tickets for Saturday & Sunday are $12 (plus fee), and Sunday only tickets are $10 (plus fee). Children 12 and under are free. Pre-purchased ticket holders will be allowed admittance at 9:30 a.m. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the gate.
